Car Dashboard is a software program designed to display vehicle data on a graphical user interface resembling an automobile dashboard. It monitors and shows key metrics like speed, RPM, fuel economy, engine diagnostics, etc.

What is Car Dashboard?

Car Dashboard is an innovative software solution that essentially turns a computer, laptop, or tablet device into a fully functioning digital dashboard display for your vehicle. It connects to an OBD-II scanner device via Bluetooth or WiFi and then reads and interprets the data codes from your vehicle's computer.

Once connected, Car Dashboard provides a visually appealing and very realistic virtual dashboard on your device's screen. Key metrics displayed include current speed, RPMs, engine load, coolant temperature, intake temps, fuel economy, fuel usage per hour, battery voltage, air flow rates, throttle position, GPS tracking, performance measurements, and more. The software can also scan for and clear engine or emissions trouble codes.

The virtual dashboard is highly customizable, allowing users to change designs and gauge styles, add or remove dash modules, modify warning lights and indicators, change themes and color schemes, and more. Files can be shared online between users as well. There are dash layouts suitable for classic muscle cars, tuner cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles, and ATVs.

In addition to the main dashboard, Car Dashboard provides other useful features like a 0-60 and quarter mile timer, high-speed data logging, route/trip tracking through GPS, fuel usage reports, detailed engine diagnostics reports based on OBD codes, vehicle battery monitoring, recall notifications, maintenance reminders, digital dash cam functionality, and more.
