What is Dropresize?

Dropresize is a free, easy-to-use image resizing and conversion application for Windows. It allows users to rapidly resize entire batches of photos with a simple drag-and-drop interface.

To use Dropresize, you simply drag your image files and drop them onto the Dropresize window. The software will then display resize options, allowing you to enter your desired image dimensions in pixels, percentage scale, or select from common preset web sizes like 800x600 or 1024x768.

Once your target size is set, Dropresize will instantly resize all the images you dropped into the window to the specified dimensions. It processes multiple photos simultaneously with multi-threading, making it easy to resize entire folders of images in just a few seconds.

In addition to straightforward image resizing, Dropresize also allows easy batch conversion between formats like JPG, PNG, BMP and more. An optional sharpening filter can be applied on resize to help counteract softening from upscaling images.
