What is LamTrip?

LamTrip is an open-source self-hosted alternative to TripIt. Like TripIt, LamTrip allows travelers to easily organize and manage their travel plans in one place by forwarding confirmation and booking emails from airlines, hotels, rental cars etc. to a dedicated email address.

LamTrip will automatically parse the details from the emails - including dates, reference numbers, locations etc - and add flights, accomodations, cars and activities to an integrated itinerary. Travelers can then view all their bookings in a clear, organized timeline view on the LamTrip website or mobile app.

As an open-source project, LamTrip offers the advantage over TripIt of allowing self-hosting, rather than relying on TripIt's cloud services. Users can download and install LamTrip on their own server or device. This gives greater control and privacy over data. LamTrip also allows editing and adding bookings manually, along with map views of the trip.
