What is Lineage (Series)?
Lineage is a free and open-source operating system for smartphones and tablet computers, based on the Android mobile platform. It is the successor to the highly popular custom ROM CyanogenMod.
Lineage aims to provide a clean, bloat-free, and smooth stock Android experience on devices with additional customization options. It gives users more control over the look, feel, and functionality of their device than the stock firmware from the device manufacturer.
