What is Shaiya?
Shaiya is a free-to-play 3D fantasy MMORPG developed by Sonov Entertainment and released in 2008. The game takes place in a persistent world with two opposing continents, the Alliance of Light and the Union of Fury. Players start by creating a character and choosing one of three races (Humans, Nordein, or Union), each with distinct appearances and racial abilities.
There are nine playable classes in Shaiya, split into the three archetypes of fighter, mage, and specialist. Fighters rely on brute strength and include Warriors, Defenders, and Berserkers. Mages harness elemental magic as Fiery Manes, Aqua Elves, or Silver Rangers. Specialists employ stealth and cunning as Assassins, Druids, or Bounty Hunters.
Gameplay focuses on questing, battling monsters, raiding dungeons, and competing in various forms of PvP. As players advance, they can train combat pets, learn to ride mounts, join player guilds and siege war fortresses, and craft weapons, armor, accessories. There is always something to work towards in this massive fantasy world.
