Sofortbild is an easy-to-use instant camera app for Windows that allows you to capture screenshots and annotate them before sharing. It has basic editing features like adding text, arrows, shapes etc.
What is Sofortbild?
Sofortbild is a screenshot annotation and sharing tool for Windows. It allows users to quickly capture any part of their screen, edit the screenshot with annotations like text, arrows, shapes and then easily share the annotated screenshots.
Once launched, Sofortbild minimizes itself to the system tray. Users can set a customizable PrintScreen-like hotkey to capture screenshots instantly. The captured screenshot opens up in Sofortbild's built-in editor where annotations can be added. The editor has intuitive tools for adding text boxes, arrows, shapes, lines etc. Users can also crop and highlight parts of the screenshot.
After annotating, the screenshots can be saved to the local device. Sofortbild also allows sharing the screenshots via email or popular sharing platforms like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc. Users can also copy the screenshot to the clipboard.
