What is The Wolf Among Us?
The Wolf Among Us is an episodic point-and-click graphic adventure game developed and published by Telltale Games. It is based on Bill Willingham's Fables comic book series and takes place chronologically before the comic books.
The story follows the character Bigby Wolf, formerly the big bad wolf, as he investigates crimes and solves mysteries among various fabled characters and creatures hiding out in 1980s New York City. These characters, known as Fables, fled their magical homeworlds after a mysterious adversary known as the Adversary conquered their lands and forced them into exile in the human world.
Over the course of five episodes, Bigby confronts characters from popular fables and fairytales as he tries to solve a bloody murder mystery and prevent an uprising in the Fabletown community. The player's choices impact the way the story unfolds.
