Video Coach is a robust video analysis software targeted at coaches and athletes looking to study performance and technique in detail. It enables users to easily record video from practices and competitions then import into the app, or import videos from external sources.
Once videos are imported, Video Coach provides extensive markup and editing tools - from drawing shapes and lines frame-by-frame to highlighting athletes or areas of interest, adding text annotations, slowing video playback speed, and cutting/stitching together clips. There is also a useful side-by-side video comparison function to contrast technique or performance across multiple clips.
One of the most powerful features of Video Coach is the automated athlete tracking and focus. Computer vision technology detects and tracks specified athletes across the full video, enabling coaches to monitor positioning, velocity, and more for a single player amongst a complex scene. Edited and analyzed videos can be quickly shared with athletes or coaching staff via email, link or exported file.
