What is Dragon Age (Series)?
The Dragon Age series is a acclaimed dark fantasy role-playing video game series developed by the Canadian company BioWare. The series is known for its rich world, lore and characters, as well as the ability for players to make choices that significantly impact the narrative.
The first game, Dragon Age: Origins, was released in 2009 and allows players to customize their character from several unique races and classes. Set in the mythical land of Thedas, the game tells an epic story while also allowing players to recruit companions, engage in romances, and make moral decisions that influence later games.
Dragon Age 2, released in 2011, makes the story more personal by focusing on a refugee-turned-champion named Hawke. Their rise to power in the city of Kirkwall is shaped by player choices. The third installment, Dragon Age: Inquisition puts the player in the role of the Inquisitor as they try to save Thedas from an otherworldly threat.
