Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is an open world action role-playing game developed by 38 Studios and Big Huge Games. It was released in 2012 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows.
The game takes place in the high fantasy world of Amalur, which was previously a stagnant battleground between the immortal Fae and the undead Tuatha. You play as a hero brought back to life by the Well of Souls, which has also granted you freedom from destiny. This allows you to shape your own fate through the choices you make as you explore the world.
