In Betrayal at Krondor, you play as Locklear, Owyn, and James as they adventure across the Kingdom of the Isles. It begins with a seemingly routine mission for Locklear that quickly turns dangerous. You start to uncover a dark plot threatening the peace between the Kingdom and the empire of Kesh. The story leads you across dozens of detailed locations, from dark elven ruins to glittering caves to the stormy high seas.
Gameplay alternates between first-person exploration of the overworld and turn-based tactical combat when you encounter enemies.
