What is Wheel of Time MUD (WoTMUD)?

Wheel of Time MUD (WoTMUD) is a free, open source text-based multiplayer online roleplaying game set in the fantasy world of Robert Jordan's bestselling book series The Wheel of Time.

On WoTMUD, players can create a character and explore the world of the Wheel of Time, including iconic locations like the Two Rivers, Shienar, Tear, Illian, and many more. They can take on quests, battle darkfriends and shadowspawn, learn new skills and abilities, and interact with other players from around the world in this immersive text-based RPG.

Gameplay on WoTMUD focuses on exploration, questing, and character progression. As players complete quests and defeat enemies, they earn experience points to increase their levels and talent points to unlock new skills and special abilities.
