What is Kings Road?

Kings Road is a free-to-play fantasy action role-playing game developed and published by Rumble Entertainment in 2013. The game features hack-and-slash gameplay similar to titles like Diablo or Path of Exile, with some massively multiplayer online elements mixed in.

In Kings Road, players create a customizable character and embark on quests and adventures in a medieval fantasy world. There are three character classes available - Knight, Archer, and Wizard - each with their own unique abilities and playstyles catering to melee, ranged, or magical combat respectively.

The gameplay largely revolves around hacking, slashing, and blasting your way through hordes of enemies and bosses while collecting loot and improving your character's gear and stats. Most areas can be played solo or cooperatively with other players in multiplayer mode. There are also some massively multiplayer features where you can join clans to take on larger challenges.

While Kings Road was relatively well-received when it originally launched, updates and new content additions eventually slowed, leading Rumble Entertainment to cease active development in 2016. However, the servers remain online and the core fantasy hack-and-slash gameplay loop still provides some nostalgic fun.
