What is Vindictus?

Vindictus is a free-to-play action MMORPG developed by DevCat Studio and published by Nexon. Set in the fantasy world of Erinn, the game focuses on fast-paced, action-based combat that requires player skill and precision. Players can choose from sixteen different heroes, each with their own unique skills, abilities, and playstyles.

The combat in Vindictus utilizes a physics and skill-based system that allows players to hack away at enemies and the environment. Weapons collide with armor and flesh with visceral damage. Environments are destructible, so players can demolish obstacles or use the debris against their foes. This level of combat interaction lends weight and impact to battles.

In addition to combat, Vindictus features dungeon crawling and boss raids. Players team up to battle increasingly difficult monsters and bosses that require coordination and skill to defeat. Defeating bosses allows players to earn rare equipment and materials used for crafting weapons and armor. While the game can be played solo, the end game content is designed around multiplayer group play.
