Kamerge is a free and open source camera control and image acquisition software for Windows. It provides an intuitive interface to control DSLR, mirrorless, point-and-shoot, and web cameras connected to the computer over USB or WiFi.
With Kamerge, you can view a live feed from the camera, adjust settings like exposure mode, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance, etc. It supports capturing images in RAW+JPEG format with full manual control. An intervalometer allows you to create timelapses by automatically capturing images over long durations.
Advanced features include focus stacking to extend depth of field, exposure and focus bracketing, High Dynamic Range (HDR) imaging, Panoramas, Star Trails and more. There are options for remote triggering and scripting complex capture sequences.
The open platform allows advanced users to customize and automate complex workflows through Python scripting. It can also control external devices like motorized sliders, color calibration tools, switch hubs, light boxes etc. The software is updated frequently and works well with most Canon and Nikon DSLRs.
