The Elder Scrolls: Legends

Free-to-play digital card game set in the Elder Scrolls universe with competitive gameplay, AI opponents, and story-driven campaigns based on Elder Scrolls lore.

What is The Elder Scrolls: Legends?

The Elder Scrolls: Legends is a strategy card game developed by Dire Wolf Digital and published by Bethesda Softworks. Set in the fantasy world of Tamriel, the game builds upon lore and characters from the popular Elder Scrolls series including Skyrim, Oblivion and Morrowind.

Legends incorporates core elements of collectible card games along with innovative mechanics such as lane combat and rune destruction. Each player commands his or her own deck of creatures, heroes and spells across two 'lanes' vying for control of opponents runes. Destroying runes damages the opposing hero and the first to bring their opponent's health to zero emerges victorious.

In addition to head-to-head battles, Legends includes Story and Puzzle challenges against AI enemies. These solo adventures unlock new cards and provide an enriched background to the game's lore via battles depicting historical events in Tamriel. Several story expansions have added new campaign content over time.

First released in 2017 for PC and mobile devices, Legends emphasizes strategic gameplay over pay to win, allowing players to be competitive without excessive grinding or spending. With frequently updated card sets and new play modes added after launch, Legends remains a compelling entry in the digital CCG genre.
