What is Unending Galaxy?

Unending Galaxy is a space simulation and exploration game set in a vast procedurally generated galaxy. As a new pilot, players start out with a basic spaceship and minimal credits to their name. The goal is to explore star systems, mine asteroids for valuable resources, trade goods between space stations to turn a profit, take on missions to earn money and reputation, and engage in space combat against pirates, enemy factions, and hostile creatures.

A key feature of Unending Galaxy is its near-infinite procedurally generated galaxy, filled with billions of star systems to discover. Each star system is unique, with the possibility of uninhabited planets, space stations, asteroid belts ripe for mining, and enemies to battle. The ship editor allows players to customize and upgrade their starship with new weapons, shields, engines and other modules as they progress. Trading goods between production, tech, and mining stations is also a great way to make money early on.

With a grand sense of scale and exploration reminiscent of classic space simulation titles like Elite and Freelancer, Unending Galaxy offers an open-ended sandbox experience focused on emergent gameplay.
