What is CamTwist?
CamTwist is a feature-rich webcam effects and virtual camera software for macOS. Developed by a community of volunteers, CamTwist is open source and completely free to use.
With CamTwist, users can apply effects like chroma keying, resolutions/fps changes, text overlays, transitions, and more to live or recorded video feeds from any webcam. The processed video can then be output to popular video calling apps like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx as a virtual webcam.
