Command & Conquer is a hugely popular real-time strategy (RTS) video game franchise that has been around since the mid 1990s. The games are set in an alternate universe centered around a global war between the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) representing the UN, and the Brotherhood of NOD, a well-equipped and organized terrorist organization.
