PasteUnformatted is a lightweight web app that allows you to paste text without any formatting. It strips text of all styling and formatting, useful when you just want plain text.

What is PasteUnformatted?

PasteUnformatted is a simple online text editor that allows you to paste text content and strip it of any formatting. It removes all styling, including bold, italics, underlines, font colors, text sizes, etc. and outputs plain text.

This is useful when you want to paste text into something like a code editor or document editor but don't want the original rich text formatting to carry over. For example, if you copy text from a Microsoft Word document, it may have lots of embedded formatting that you don't want. PasteUnformatted will strip all of that out.

The editor has a very minimal interface with just a large text box to paste your text into. Once pasted, it automatically removes all formatting and displays the plain text result. You can then select and copy the unformatted text to paste wherever needed.

Because it runs fully in the browser, PasteUnformatted allows you to quickly unformat text without needing to install any additional software. It works on any modern web browser and there are no ads or signup requirements.
