Super Mario: Blue Twilight DX is an expansive fan-made remake and expansion of the beloved Super Mario World platformer originally released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990. Developed over several years by a dedicated team of fans and programmers, Blue Twilight DX takes the classic Mario gameplay and world and enhances it for modern systems.
The game features fully high-definition 1080p graphics, including reimagined character sprites, enemies, backgrounds, and animation. The visuals are vibrant and smooth, bringing new life to the Mushroom Kingdom while retaining the charming and iconic art style of the 16-bit era. In addition to the graphics overhaul, the game's soundtrack has been fully remastered with new instrumentation and recordings.
Beyond enhanced visuals and audio, Blue Twilight DX sets itself apart with a huge amount of new content. The game includes over 100 brand new levels across nine different worlds, most modeled after real-world locations like forests, beaches, volcanoes, and more.
