What is Surviv.io?

surviv.io is a popular top-down multiplayer battle royale game that runs directly in a web browser. It features simple 2D graphics and easy to pick up gameplay. At the start of each match, players parachute down onto an island arena that contains various buildings and terrain.

Players must quickly scavenge the map to find weapons, ammunition, and other supplies that are scattered around the ground and inside buildings. There are firearms like assault rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, SMGs, as well as melee weapons like katanas and pans. Players also need to keep their health and hunger bars up by finding food and medical items.

The goal is to eliminate all other players in the match using the found weapons and items. A deadly electrical field closes in as the match goes on, forcing confrontations between players and making the playable area smaller and smaller. The last player standing at the end wins the chicken dinner.

surviv.io has several different multiplayer modes available including solo, duo, and squad matches. It features bright cartoonish graphics, simple controls that allow keyboard only or keyboard + mouse playing, and fast paced battles. Games only last around 5-15 minutes.
