A free and open source password generator creating unique passwords based on a master password and website/service name, without storing or transmitting passwords.
LessPass is a free and open source password manager and generator. Unlike traditional password managers, LessPass does not store or transmit passwords. Instead, it generates a unique password for each website or service based on a master password provided by the user and the name of the website or service.
When the user needs a password, they simply enter their master password and the name of the site, and LessPass algorithmically generates a unique, strong password for that site. This makes passwords much easier to manage since the user only needs to remember one master password.
