What is Ring of Elysium?
Ring of Elysium is a free-to-play battle royale game for PC developed and published by Tencent Games. The game features up to 60 players in a match fighting to be the last survivor. It launched on Steam Early Access in 2018.
Ring of Elysium takes place on the fictional Mount Dione, where players parachute onto a map that features dynamic weather and disasters. Over the course of a match, there can be blizzards, sandstorms, and more that affect movement and visibility. There is also a unique BMX system that allows players to quickly traverse the terrain.
When starting a match, players can choose between four classes: Assault, Sniper, Healing, and Mountaineer. Each has unique perks and starting equipment. As a match goes on, players scavenge for weapons, attachments, equipment and vehicles scattered around the map.
Ring of Elysium stands out from other battle royale games with its dynamic environments, unique movement options, and class system. With a focus on intense action and survival gameplay, it offers a new take on the popular genre free of charge.
